Year 3 & 4 Girls Islington Football Festival

Another sunny Islington Football festival! This time it was the Year 3&4 girls turn to represent the school. Our first match was against Duncombe which we won 2-0, goals scored by Georgia and Lema! Our second game was against William Tyndale which even though it was a close match we lost 1-0. The third game we played Whitehall Park finishing with a score of 0-0. Our final game was against Canonbury, again a very close match but we just loose 1-0. The girls showed excellent respect and sportsmanship, a special mention to Georgia for her fantastic level of skill which was commented on from a few different schools.

"The teaching of phonics has improved since the previous inspection. There is now a clear structure to the way sounds are being taught, and pupils learn more quickly than in the past"
