We took a squad of four students to represent Islington at the London Youth Games Finals. It was an excellent experience and day out for the students and staff. Even though we didn’t place in the medals table all of our points will go towards Islington's final points.
Well done to those who competed, especially Jeremy scoring 9.2 in one event.
Jeremy - There are two rounds. The qualifiers and the finals. Last year, only the year 6 team qualified so they went to the finals - London Youth Games
katie - Is this only year 6 that have completed it or is there other years?
"The teaching of phonics has improved since the previous inspection. There is now a clear structure to the way sounds are being taught, and pupils learn more quickly than in the past"
