Inés is thriving and enjoying a wide range of activities in the nursery at Prior Weston Primary School

Beatriz says: “One of Inés’s favourite activities at nursery is role play, when she can play at being a doctor, caring for babies, or cooking in the play kitchen. She loves learning songs, reading books, playing in the garden and going to the big hall.”
Beatriz and Luca live in Islington with their children, Inés, aged three, and Pablo, who is three months old.
Quick learner
Beatriz and Luca are thrilled with the progress their daughter, Inés, is making in the nursery at Prior Weston Primary. Beatriz says: “We are amazed at how much Inés is learning and all the things she knows now. We are also impressed with how well she speaks English, even though she lives in a Spanish and Italian household.”
Singing songs
Beatriz says they can tell that their daughter is ‘super happy’ in the nursery. “When Inés is at home, she is singing all the time and we hear all the songs she has learned at school and we can also see that she is developing new skills.”
Good feeling
Inés started going to the Children’s Centre at Prior Weston Primary when she was 11 months old. “There were several nurseries in the area where we live and we chose this one because we thought it was the best. We especially liked the big space outside where the children play and the feeling of the school, with its different rooms for babies, toddlers, and nursery children. We thought the setting was very good and could tell it was a happy environment,”
